Seenu Ramasamy to make acting debut in Vijay Karthik’s courtroom drama

Critically acclaimed filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy is all set to make his debut as an actor. The director has been roped in to play a crucial role in debutant Vijay Karthik’s new film, which will feature Arun and Niranjana in the lead roles.
The director reveals details about the project, “It’s a courtroom drama, and the subject deals with an important social issue. The shoot of the film began yesterday at a private college in the city, and Seenu sir has already joined the sets.”
While Arun and Niranjana play the lead roles, Seenu Ramasamy will be seen playing a lawyer in the film.“Seenu sir’s character plays an important role,” says Vijay Karthik. Seenu Ramasamy, who was also on the set, says, “I have never been in front of the camera, and this is sort of a new experience for me. Initially, I was a bit reluctant and even advised the director to approach some other actor for the role. But Vijay was quite persistent in bringing me on board, and thus, for the love of these youngsters, I agreed to be a part of the project. Even now, I have informed him that if he feels that my performance isn’t up to the mark, he can reconsider the decision.”
